I am pasting some helpful links to a few sites that I like to use for my own education. This is by no means an exhaustive list. You may find others that help you on your specific needs.
The first is a learning GAME created for Microsoft. It is called "Ribbon Hero" and once downloaded will be available in ALL the basic Office suite applications. I have used it in PowerPoint, Word and Excel. When you open your app after downloading Ribbon Hero, you will be prompted to perform a Ribbon Hero challenge. It will also walk you through the steps if the action is new to you. But if you perform the task without assistance, you WIN! What do you win? Well, you try it and find out.
This next one is a very introductory tutorial on the structure of Excel and it's features. I found that although a bit basic, is a very good foundational exploration of spreadsheets in general and Excel specifically.
Excel Help.org was formed in 2007 by a group of end users of Excel with the original intention of helping every day users of excel with any issues at no cost. This link leaps into specific topics with clear explanations of a variety of techniques and features.
This last is the good old Microsoft Help Online site. I almost always turn to this FIRST when I am stuck on how to perform an action in any of the MicroSoft applications. This help link will also offer links to tutorial videos.
